Commercial Image Use

All rights will be worldwide non-exclusive one-time use for the selected media unless otherwise specified.

Media and Usage

When an image has been purchased for a particular right, that option will be removed from the website on the next update. In the case of exclusive use, the image will be removed completely. The image and purchase options will become available again once the rights have expired.

Payment Options

Currencies

The shopping basket displays prices in £GBP (United Kingdom Pounds), €EUR (Euros), $USD (United States Dollars), $CAD (Canadian Dollars), $AUD (Australian Dollars), or ¥JPY (Japanese Yen).

More currencies will be added when possible.

Please note that payments in ¥JPY will be rounded down to the nearest Yen

Cheques

I can accept payments by cheque, but I will not be able to release images until payment has cleared. You can, of course pay in advance to avoid any delays. Please contact me to arrange this.

Payment by cheque in a currency other than £GBP will incur a charge of £10 to cover bank charges and can take several weeks to clear.

Advance Payments

You can easily make advanced payments to avoid payment delays or to take advantage of bulk purchases.

Delivery Options

Once payment has been cleared, the images will be delivered to you as requested. An online account will also be created for you to access your order at any time.

Website

An online, password protected account will be created for you to download the high quality images as well as any originals.

Copy invoices will also be made available online for each order.

Accounts will be kept open for at least 3 months from creation for you to access at any time.

Email

The high quality images will be emailed to your address along with an invoice for your records.

If there is a problem due to the size of the images, or any firewall or security issues, I will send a plain email explaining this and unless it can be resolved, the online account must be used for access.

CD / DVD

The images and associated originals and copy invoice will be sent to your address on a CD or DVD as requested.

A charge of £5 will be made to cover the extra costs involved.

Image Resolution and Quality

Wherever possible, the digital original image will also be made available for you. The pixel size and DPI quoted on the website is of the cropped and/or modified original image, both of which are stored offline. This is the best guide to use to make sure the resolution meets your requirements.

Please note that 'Originals' in this context refer to unmodified jpg or raw files straight from digital cameras, or high quality scans of film prints. Original (paper) prints will not be released.

'Images' refer to the files that have been processed in some way (cropped, sharpened, resized etc) to improve them. The images sent out will not have any watermarks or logos embedded.

The pixel size and resolution (DPI) quoted on the website and in the shopping basket refer to the modified image that I send to the printers. The actual original you will receive may be significantly larger.
